This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is effective immediately for any person (“you,” “your,” and “yours,” as applicable) accessing and using https://lightyearcoffee.com and any related online or social media platform(s) (collectively, the “Platform”), as well as any products or other services you may access or purchase through the Platform (the “Product” or “Products”).

The terms “Lightyear,” “we,” “us,” and “our,” as applicable, refer to Lightyear Coffee LLC, the owner and provider of the Platform and Products.

If you access third-party websites or services via links on our Platform, the privacy policy of that third-party site will apply to your activities there. We have no control over such third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

By accessing and using the Platform or purchasing a Product, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Platform or purchase a Product.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting. You are responsible for reviewing this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of our Platform or purchase of our Products after modifications constitutes:

You may disable cookies through your browser settings, but this may affect some Platform functionality.

We may also use Flash cookies for storing preferences and displaying personalized content. Flash cookies function differently than browser cookies and must be managed separately.

Advertising and Third-Party Ad Partners. We may use third-party advertising services (e.g., Google) to serve targeted ads. These services may use cookies to track non-personally identifiable information about your use of the Platform and other websites to deliver ads tailored to your interests.

If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising, you may do so here. However, this will not stop all advertisements—only targeted ones.

We use SSL encryption (HTTPS) to help protect data in transit. However, no method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using our Platform, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

To protect your own data:

  1. Use strong, unique passwords for your accounts,
  2. Avoid submitting sensitive information in public areas; and
  3. Review third-party privacy policies before sharing data

User-Submitted Content. For any content you submit to our Platform, including without limitation reviews, comments and blog posts (“Submitted Content”), you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share that content. Do not submit confidential, proprietary, or legally restricted information.  While we take precautions to protect Submitted Content, we cannot guarantee that third-parties will not access or misuse it.

Personal Data Retention and Deletion Requests. We retain collected data indefinitely unless required by law to delete it. In some cases, we may anonymize personal data for research or statistical purposes, allowing us to use it indefinitely.

You may request personal data deletion, but some data may be retained for:

  1. Troubleshooting issues,

  4. Meeting legal obligations

Therefore, we cannot guarantee that all personal data will be completely removed from our records.
